September 15th, was my parents 50th wedding anniversary. So Kevin and I decided to throw them a party. Here we were getting all set up...
We had
Piggin Out BBQ here in town come out and cater for us. They served chicken, brisket, mac and cheese, BBQ beans, rolls, drinks, and cupcakes. It was all fantastic, really great. We filled in with some fruit and other salads as well.
The guests all arrived, we had almost 70 people attend, it was really great to see a wonderful turnout of everyone congratulating my parents.
We had some games for kids too...

We even had an opportunity for folks to write on the tables little messages for my parents....
It was a great party. Thanks to everyone who made the trip to our house to celebrate 50 years with my parents. I saw a shirt the other day that said "the first 50 years of marriage are the hardest" so I guess my parents have it made now. Congrats!
